Macedonian Investment opportunities presented at Los Angeles Business Forum

The Macedonian government team today presented Macedonian Investment opportunities to the representatives of nearly 60 companies at a business forum in Los Angeles.

 

After Detroit and Houston, Los Angeles is the third destination of our road show where a successful presentation was held and contacts were established with plenty of potential investors, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski stated after addressing a business forum.

 

"Today's presentation to the representatives of companies was received well and resulted in several separate meetings. Some of the representatives showed interest in further communication for a possible investment in the Republic of Macedonia," PM Gruevski said.

 

The presentation of Macedonia's business potentials was attended, amongst others, by a World Bank official responsible for the Doing Business report, where Macedonia has drastically improved its ranking - from 96th to 23th place.

 

The attendance of a World Bank official has given special credibility to the Macedonian presentation, the PM noted.

 

"He has confirmed what we have been presenting as country's advantage for investing. Whenever there is a third side credible enough to give special significance to what we are saying about Macedonia will increase the interest amongst the investors," PM Gruevski said after the business forum in Los Angeles.

 

Macedonian high delegation will wrap up their US visit with business forum organized in Seattle on 3rd of December.
