These agreements allow for free exports from Macedonia", Gruevski said.

"We offer lowest taxes in Europe and lowest costs for opening a business, as well as in logistics, energy and in competitiveness of the work force. Macedonia offers series of opportunities to invest in technological industrial development zones, where investors are freed from paying income tax in the first 10 years and also pay no value added tax and customs for their imports", Gruevski said.gruevski

Steve Sharpe, President and CEO of Euromax Resources which is already working on major mining developments in Macedonia, said: "Our experience in Macedonia is excellent. The Government showed full understanding in all issues we discussed. Many European countries could learn from the way they interact with business and bring in foreign investment.
